Paleo Choc Milk Smoothie

Experimentation … Gone right! Being a part of Sleek Geek has allowed for people that I’ve never met before to inspire me and encourage me and push me in ways I never thought possible. This is one such instance – I was asked to tweak and ‘REBOOTify’ a Banting friendly chocolate milkshake. Not being one to let these things slide, I thought about it and just decided to do what I do – throw things in a blender and see what happens!

The result was a creamy, decadent milkshake that surpassed my expectations. Now, it’s dairy free, it’s sugar free, and it’s DEEEEEEEEVINE!! 


Banana-Choc Milkshake

How is that even possible? Here it is!

What you need 

1 banana

1/2 avo

1 tspn cashew butter

1/4 cup coconut/almond milk (adjust according to desired viscosity)

1/3 tspn carob/cocoa/cacao powder

What you need to do

1. Just throw it all into a blender and blend!  

Paleo Chocolate Milk Smoothie

It tastes pretty amazing – the avo gives it an insane amount of creaminess. You can adjust the amount of coconut milk depending on how thick you like your milkshakes – I added a bit more after blending because I didn’t fancy a double thick milkshake! You can also add a few drops of vanilla extract too. 

*I am still working on this one but it’s pretty yum as is. Will be experimenting further with frozen fruit… Stay tuned!
