Titanium Coffee – the egg free version with coconut creamer [Paleo, Dairy free]

You will have seen the titanium egg coffee a gazillion times, especially since I have it everyday. This week, for some unfathomable reason, I kept forgetting to buy eggs! So I found myself downing black coffees, which I don’t mind really, but I was missing the frothy creaminess of the titanium coffee.

So I decided to just omit the egg, add a few bits here and there, and see what happens. Now, I’ll be perfectly honest with you – it is nowhere near as creamy as an egg coffee! It is still a bit bitter and I’d probably want to either stick with a black coffee or a titanium coffee… However, sometimes, this might do the trick.

Recipe for Egg-free Titanium Coffee

Yield: 1 serving

Prep time: 3 minutes

What you need

1 cup of hot black coffee

3 tspns coconut oil

1/4 tspn cinnamon

1/4 tspn raw cacao powder

Few drops vanilla extract

2 tblspns coconut cream

What you need to do

1. Make a cup of black coffee (use really good coffee – it makes a huge difference to the taste!).

2. Lightly whisk the coconut cream and other ingredients (NOT the coconut oil) together to form a ‘coffee creamer’.

2. Add the hot coffee, coconut oil, and creamer into a blender. Blend. Done!

Yep, that’s pretty much it. Flavoured with cinnamon and cacao, this smells heavenly. You would just need to get used to the bitterness because when you look at it, your brain thinks creamy latte!

In summary – stick an egg in it! It works 😉 But this will certainly do for days when eggs are not an option. Enjoy!
